I try not to be into reality tv series but i also like watching something for time to pass or have this as a background noise, while i'm doing something else. So, yes, it's interesting seeing people working at sea on yacht, big boat or something else. Of course, there is always a drama, which i'm not fond of. I remember i read that in one of the seasons of this series, not spin off like this, it was Below Deck only and there was something about one male worker whose image was damaged and he sued the tv production but he did it a decade later, after the show was on and court ruled it out agaisnt him so, this is a good warning how being in a reality series can harm people. The worker claimed he was portrayed worse than he was in reality. All in all, i don't like being at boat so enjoying there or working there, it's not an option for me. Do you watch any reality series on telly or online?

I have a friend who watches Below Deck. Years ago, I tended to watch reality when I was bored, like The Challenge. I would really get into it. Nowadays, I tend to just stick to things that make me laugh.

One time when I lived in Philadelphia, I had applied to work as a restaurant server aboard a very large boat that cruised along the Delaware River. I showed up for my interview at the time they told me, but the boat was away from the dock. The crew member of a yacht that was moored there saw me waiting and looking bored, and she was bored, too, so we struck up a conversation and she gave me a tour of the yacht. It was really interesting seeing all the rooms and everything below deck.

@valherma00 the boat never returned while I was there, but that's okay; it was a pretty basic job, and I easily got one somewhere else.

I don’t watch it, but my younger son loves it. I still watch American Idol when I remember it’s on.

I don't watch any reality TV. It can't be very 'real' with cameras and lights everywhere.

well, they make us believe but you're right, it's not real real.
