Electricity bill in 2 parts. What...?!

That's right.
First one was for a period from March 1 to March 26 and not i got it for March 27 to MArch 31. I found the first one strange but i thought maybe the next month will be from March 27 until the end of April.
Now I have to pay 2 separate additional fees and bill is in 2 parts, that really doesn't make sense. And yes, i paid the first part already. I sent them the inquiry.
We got a new electrical device for measuring electricity; the city replaced our old ones and what a surprise, the bills are higher and in parts.
Where this world or this country is going...help.
P.s. Online photo but similar to my real device.

Changes happen. I had to docusign papers because State farm is updating their computer systems. As a result George's auto insurance is getting a new polocy number. Despite me signing it online, I still got something for him to sign in the mail.

@valherma00 Everything we could ever want or need is a business. Businesses know they can get away with anything, because they provide a service we'd be hard-pressed to live without.

changes on worse and always prices going up and not low. o, that's really unneccessary for them but, yes, theirs and ours way of thinking is always different.

@kaylachan i wish they answer on my complain cause they first issued bill in advance for 6months, which was lower then 2 new ones. one bill should be eliminated. i need a closure. they responded on my first complain real fast and now, for 3 days, nothing.

I guess there are two bills because one is for the old device and one for the new, but it's unfair to charge two additional fees. Hopefully they will agree to remove the second one.

i agree as well but they answered me they had to do it, distinguish prices, that i was informed and that's it. i sent another complain that amount it's too much but i feel i'll have to pay it in the end. i miss the old device already

@AliCanary still waiting for a reply on my 2nd complain. actually i sent another one cause i remembered that there was a bill in advance for 6months and it was lower than these 2 in total. something is suspicious and if i have to buy, i hope they won't ignore me. it's been 2-3 days. on my first complain, they answered the next day. thanks.

i've read the news a month ago from the south of the country and i remember i thought it's only down there, not here but, no, people didn't complain without the reason and prices went up, again and again.

I used to live in a trailer park. Before I moved out of the trailer park, I had gotten a notice that our power company was putting out new smart meters on all the trailers. I think it did raise our bills too.

they answered on my first email that the first bill is before changing device and second after it but still, why they are complicating and making me pay more. i'll wait for a second email cause i complained twice but i feel i'll have to pay it in the end. not cool.
