There are double yolk eggs sold in markets in bengal. All these eggs are that of hens. When the eggs are cooked into poach then the double yolk can be seen. Generally these eggs are bigger in size than the single yolk eggs.

@sathviksouvik True, some of the food value disappears but cooking it all the way is still better than throwing it up.

thanks DE but maximum protein or food value is there in half boiled egg or egg poach, the moment it is fried into omelette or other items the food value disappears

I don't think you can buy double yolk eggs here. It's just lucky if you come across a double yolk.

thanks Judy these are special breed of hens. There are nurseries in bengal where these hens are propagated
