Fitness Training and Jelly Legs

I had my 45 min fitness session today. Since my husband is working I had to make my own way to the gym and walked for 20min. So I was already tired when I arrived. My trainer made me do a full body workout but focusing more on the legs. And although I could barely walk now and my legs are feeling like jelly I must say it improved my mood. Here is a photo of a cherry blossom I passed by on my walk back home.

Beautiful tree! Is it ornamental or will it actually produce cherries? Trainers always think legs need more of a workout than the rest of the body. But think how much longer/further you'll be able to walk after you get used to doing that!

I am pretty sure it produces cherries too. Well in my case I know my legs are the weakest part of me. Despite me doing a lot of walking. I struggle putting weight on it hahaha. I think I deserved that work out. I like having a trainer to help push me to my limits.

@flapiz I was always a little go-getter when I was working out. I figured out what I needed and set up a six days a week training schedule and stuck to it for several years. I even joined some competitions and didn't do too badly. I never won but I did get in the top three several times.

@DaddyEvil oh wow! I have not reached that level. I need external motivation. I used to be addicted to work out but ever since my PCOS flare up I have been struggling to summon the will to work out.

Yes I feel a bit happier even though I am in pain. Before the workout I was feeling a bit low since I am missing my friends. My husband and I recently moved and I am feeling quite homesick and unmotivated. Workout sorts out my blues.

@flapiz it's good that you feel happier since your workout but I'm sorry to hear you are missing your friends since the move. Hopefully where you live now you will be able to meet people and make new friends.

@Traceyjayne I hope so too. My neighbours are lovely. But they are quite of a different generation. So I am hoping to find a friend at work at least when I find a job.

I remember in high school during P.E. our teacher would make us run up and down the bleachers. Afterwords, it looked like we made up a new dance because our legs were shaking like they couldn’t stay still. Good for you, for staying with it. The picture is beautiful!

@flapiz I feel great after working out, but jelly legs would make me fall down. I had a session of yoga this morning, then showered and ran down the hallway to a friend’s for breakfast. If I had jelly legs, I would’ve wobbled down the hallway.
