So I went to the doctor this morning (with lip gloss- see previous post) to test for a UTI. I have been sleeping 18 hours a day (not straight through), and she had me do the test. She said I’d get the results in a couple of days. Which confused me as at this same facility, with the same lab had diagnosed me with one last year. They told me before I checked out. Oh, well. It won’t hurt to wait for the results. And for those saying sleeping long periods of time is not a symptom of a UTI? It iS a symptom, and as you get older your symptoms change from when you were younger. Oh, and I got a crabby text from my sister today, too. Fun stuff!

Some days you can't win for losing. In this restaurant now..no pizza buffet like on their marquee, and it is taking forever for my order. That is in addition to my fluffy pants. My ABS light went on on the dash but don't see it now.

For a thorough test of what type you have it takes a couple of days. They have started me on antibiotics before and then changed them after growing cultures to know what type. Hopefully that's what it is as that's easy to cure.

I never understand why they can't get results quicker than that. That's like if Im in the ER I can get results for tests instantly, if I go to PCP they say two weeks. Whyyy you guys are in the same building.

@AmbiePam It's a small operation on my oesophagus. The interesting thing is that after the op, I have a week on a liquid diet, then a week on soft food. I'm hoping it might lead to a bit of weight loss. What do you think?

I went to the ER because my legs were so weak I could hardly stand. Turned out I had a UTI. Strange.

I know, the symptoms can be so weird. My dad’s friend started talking nonsensical and had to be strapped down when he got a UTI. He was in the hospital for two weeks.
