As expected, Trump has declared the war over after blowing up loads of Iranian stuff. Before the war the Straits of Hormuz were open. Now they are closed. Before the war Iran had enriched uranium. After the war they still have enriched uranium. Before the war they had a hated Ayatollah and oppressive regime. After the war they have new Ayatollah and an even more hateful and more avenging Iran. Before the war, Russian oil was embargoed. Now its not and Russia are coining it in. 800 vessels are locked down in the Straits. The world economy is on the edge of an abyss. Tankers will be charged 1 million dollars in crypto per transit. Trump even had the audacity to say the US would charge the same for the same passage under US Navy guard. The Pakistan mediators came up with some text that was accepted by both sides for the ceasefire. For Trump it shows they hit all their military targets. For Iran its stopped the bombing. They will now re-arm with Russian and Chinese kit. Iran are now stronger. The region is even more unstable. World recession on the way. One suspects Qatar just sanctioned a Suez Canal right through the middle of its country.
