Starting my game development journey

I never thought of developing games, as I always think it's very difficult to do so, I always think developing web or windows applications are easier. My eldest son would like to build his first game, but he doesn't know coding at all, so I am thinking perhaps I can learn it by myself, since I know coding, so I can support or help him if he needs any. My youngest son is interested to learn coding as well, and of course he thinks developing games is fun too, business applications seem to be boring to him. I decided to start with Unity. I just get it installed, and now I am on the way to create my first project... It sounds fun and exciting! Do you like to play games? Picture: The robot image before starting the Unity Tour ^_^
