Two parcels and a shower of rain .... !

Had a phone call from my Mom earlier to say that my two parcels had arrived. The first was my earrings that I got via a great Birthday deal ....see previous post, if you have nothing to do, or are nosey, or simply just missed it .... The second is a cookbook, with slimming recipes, for the air fryer....yes I have an air fryer at the caravan too .. again see previous post, as above ! I am excited about both of these parcels and I will collect them at the weekend when I go home. As I was talking to Mom, the sky became dark and lo and behold ! ....it's started to rain. Oh the joys of the British weather ! What's the weather like with you ? Have you had and parcels recently ?

It's sunny and warm today but will be foggy in the morning and switching to rain and thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon. I hope Mom is doing okay. Please tell her I said hello and sent her a hug. Thank you.

A parcel might arrive at my door while we're away house-sitting. I've asked the neighbour to look out for it. Being a gated community I don't really worry about it being stolen.

Slimming recipes, is that for your decision to eat healthier this year? I know we both speak English, but sometimes I think I miss the meaning in British references. Slimming to me, means losing weight.

@AmbiePam ....yes, I need to eat healthier and lose weight. As The Mister is away all week we do tend to eat our a lot at the weekend. That's not good ... We don't make healthy choices ! Also, after sitting on my backside for a year since my arm accident I have become the size of a house ! .. in my opinion . . So the weight has found me, liked me , and stayed ....now it's definitely time for it to move on to someone else ....

The last parcel I got contained two Kodak Charmera collectible digital cameras, stuff for my fur babies! Awaiting another parcel which contains my very expensive green tea, and more for the fur babies again. Receiving a parcel is really a happy day.

@traceyjayne I’m awaiting a book - it’ll be delivered to the post office down the street. We had a , blustery morning and the afternoons the same. Now I’ve no excuse to get me out of mowing the lawn.

No parcels here recently. The weather is warming with some days of rain. I think spring is finally here.
