Dating someone who's jobless?

Personally, I’m not interested in dating someone who isn’t working. If I were jobless myself, I honestly wouldn’t even feel comfortable dating either.
I don’t think it’s fair for one person to carry all the financial responsibilities in a relationship.
Have you ever dated someone who didn’t have a job?

Considering that I'm happily married, I'm not interested in dating. BUT if I were on the dating scene and met someone I was enjoying being around but he wasn't working, I would give him a chance as long as he was steadily looking for work,. If, however, he didn't have a job within, lets say a month, I would tell him I was moving on.

Yeah right. But if he has a promising future. Would you give more time like 9-12 months?

It really depends. Is he looking for a job? If he had been laid off, but was going on job interviews, I’d go out with him at least once. I’m not going to pay for everything, but there are things we could do that don’t cost a lot. However, if he was just barely looking, forget it.

Yeah, because they still had income coming in even if it wasn't a formal job.

but we all want love. also, i feel when we get a job, we keep on talking mostly about the job. i think it's good if the person has any income.
