I know times have changed a lot since I was a youngster, but I was taught not to let dogs lick my face. I guess it was for hygienic reasons, yet I see dozens of video clips of dogs licking faces, sometimes of quite young babies....

Vybe Confidence @toniganzon, I strongly concur. What we say sometimes don't tally with what we do. But we can control BOTH (what we say & what we do), obviously not every time. Your case is an exception. Do you watch movies, TV series, play video games, or . . .?

Vybe Confidence @wolfgirl569, Selfsame here. Can't do without it, can we? Not to be partial, humans are also animals according to Biology; thus, the word "human-animals." But I understand what you meant by "animals."
