Police officers from the Fishers Police Department answered an emergency call on Sunday morning around 2:20 am when a 12 year old boy named Finn Ellis-Robbins walked away from his parents home. The boy was found safe and sound around 7:00 am thanks to the efforts of members of his neighborhood, first responders and the police who worked together to locate Finn and return him to the home of his parents. I just wonder what was the cause of Finn leaving his home after midnight in the first place? Link is msn.com/en-us/news/cri...

It is strange that kids keep wanting to leave home they should always check out the home situation,

My thoughts exactly! At least he’s back home safely. I wonder if the police followed up on the reason why he ran away or left.

I just wonder what was the cause of Finn leaving his home after midnight in the first place? Good point And given the number of people involved including police officers, maybe the article should have posted the whole story and let the reader know why he left his home at that late hour Probably got told to turn his phone off

Finn needs to grow up a little bit. He doesn’t really want to be out on these streets.

That must have been so frightening for his parents. It’s a huge relief that Finn was found safe and brought back home, thanks to the quick response from the police and the support of the community. As for why he left, it’s difficult to say. Children sometimes act on impulse when they’re upset or overwhelmed. Hopefully, he’s safe, comforted, and receiving the support he needs.

Maybe, he just could not get to sleep, and went out for a wander around, sensing no danger to himself. The parents should ensure that security is stronger, especially with an autistic child, this would be required. Perhaps put a pin lock on the doors, that only they know the number too.
