I know many of you drink coffee, me not so much. But I wondered if drinkers knew the benefits derived from the used grounds and so I compiled a list: * As a pet deterent. Sprinkle some around entryway where you have seen insects enter like doorways or windowsill. The pungent smell will keep many insects away. (I used them for ants.) * Coffee grounds are rich in antioxidants and are excellent for an exfoliate. They will leave your skin soft and smooth. Use it with olive or coconut oil. * Coffee scented candles can be easily made to help cover other less pleasant odors in the kitchen and bathroom. Use a mold, melted parafin wax, a wick and coffee grounds. Pour it into the mold and let it cool completely. * Coffee grounds can also be beneficial in the garden. They are rich in nitrogen other such nutrients that help plants grow. They can also help with drainage in potted plants. But don't use too much or it can make the soil too acidic.

I do use coffee grounds in my garden for certain veggies and flowers. They are a miracle worker!

I am too. Can't find anything but lattes that I like the taste of and they are so expensive. I live on sweet iced tea in the summertime.

I drink a lot of coffee... but not because I am a coffee lover, but because I need to be awake the whole day while working. I have insomia, but when I am about to work I can't fight myself from sleeping.

Most of those who used coffee grounds make use of them really well. I'm not a coffee drinker. I prefer tea.

Thanks for the tips. It's good to be able to use stuff that would otherwise be wasted.
