Joy in a Cup

I have never appreciated black coffee until today. A friend from Baguio gave me a pocketful of coffee beans. She said it was grown uphill and is better when freshly grinded then brewed. After giving the instruction and yes, enthusiastically telling to give black coffee a chance, I finally did.
I woke up and felt my head aching because I barely slept. Then I remembered the coffee beans given to me and decided to give the black coffee a chance.
Magically after several sips of that aromatic, freshly grinded and brewed black coffee, the throbbing on my head stopped and just like that I fell in love with black coffee.
What about you, how do you enjoy your coffee?

I don't have a preference for black coffee, but if it is served, I will drink it. As part of my work, I travel from time to time across the African continent. I am often served local black coffee and I never complained. However, if I had to choose between cappuccino and black coffee, it will be cappuccino.
I know that my father has always been praising black coffee, because it helped him got rid of his chronic migraine.

@Yadah04 My father had chronic migraine for around five years. It was non-stop. He had them daily. He started drinking black coffee at the earliest hours in the morning, around 05:00 a.m. and also in the evening. Then, suddenly it stopped. Black coffee cured his chronic migraine, according to him, because he was not taking medicine at that time.

I have been drinking black coffee for years, it won't hurt you. It's been proven that coffee does have health benefits, but not when it's loaded down with milk and sugar!
