They are raising their price. I have been a subscribing member since 2010. I was paying about $7.99 back then to have dvds sent out. As of May 2026 their price is going up to $19.99. I don't think $12 in 16 years is that bad. They were pioneers.

I just watch movies online. We already pay for the internet and the movie channels are free.

@DaddyEvil .......being the TV addict that I am I feel like I'm getting a good deal. I pay $63 for the 6 apps that I have where I used to pay over $200 for cable.

@celticeagle The problem with auto bill deduction is that you do not usually see the bills.

Most subscription serviceses raise their price every year or every other year to keep up with inflation and raising costs.

For the entertainment, it doesn’t bother me. However, Amazon is raising their rates to just under $25.

I wouldn't use Amazon anything. That price is rediculous.

In India, they are struggling with quality regional content & their market share is being eaten by few Indian OTT players...hence, they didn't dare to increase the subscription fees

I have series that I watch on the apps. When they are done, I will probably stop my subscriptions.

@celticeagle Yes my bill was close to $300 too. I changed to DISH; but it's still pretty expensive.
