I'm In That Awkward "In-Between" Clothes Sizes Stage

I've lost some weight. It's not official until Monday's weigh in, but you know it's at least 18 pounds per my last post about it.
My pants are getting way too baggy.
So I bought just one pair in the next smaller size. They fit and they don't feel tight but hubby, who is used to seeing me in looser fitting clothing, said I need to lose 10 more pounds before wearing them.
The jeans I have on now are droopy and baggy and if I lifted up my shirt you'd see them hanging down and my underwear showing.
But I need to wait until I'm a true fit in the next lower size before buying any smaller pants.
Don't you just hate that? I mean I'm glad I'm losing weight, but I'm "in between" sizes.

Hubby thinks the old ones look okay. I think the new ones look a little more like Jeggings, but I think they made them differently.

I don't like tight clothing, but baggy isn't good, either. That in between size can be frustrating!! Twice I have lost a few more pounds and my pants fit, except the waist was too big. So I got busy and took in the waist. And it doesn't help that a person can find a pair that fit perfectly and then can get another pair the same exact size and style and brand name, and both pairs will fit differently! So frustrating..

If wearing it makes you still comfortable then you could keep wearing them. But if not then it's time to change size.

It must feel encouraging to feel the clothes loose now.
When I lost alot of weigh in my 50's, I would buy smaller clothes and then I would end up losing more and having to buy even smaller ones.
I dislike growing the layers out in my hair even more, as you go through some really bad hair days due to that in between thing happening too.
