Firefighters from Storm Ambulance & Rescue Ambulance and Derby Fire Department answered an emergency call from a male jet skier who fell into the Naugatuck River in Derby Connecticut on Wednesday evening,.
The firefighters used a rescue rope system to save the injured jet skier out of the river and get him safely to shore when he was taken by an ambulance to Yale New Haven Trauma Center for his injuries as well as exposure to cold weather.
Hopefully the injured ski skier will make a complete recovery from his accident soon.

@Deepizzaguy I agree with you. Hypothermic is not a good thing if he was not rescued.

You are right. Not to mention that the firefighters had to use cold weather clothes.

That is true since it could be either a medical condition or weather related.
