I'd rather face racism than struggle back home

A lot of Nigerians travel to Europe and America in search of greener pastures. With the endless problems we face here.. epileptic power supply, poor access to clean water and a struggling economy, it's understandable why so many people leave.
What I'm really tired of is Nigerians in the diaspora discouraging others from leaving always pointing to racism as an excuse. Honestly, I'd rather face racism than keep struggling back home. If I could just have basic comforts, I'd gladly take my chances

All I can tell you is don't come to the US now. Wait until the biggest racist in the US is finally out of the White House. After he's gone, you can take your chances here like everyone else.

I can understand what you're saying and I hope you can find a way to solve your problems and see if you can relocated at some time,

I tell you, racism is one of the least of our problems when compared to other problems back home.

There are a lot of Nigerians here in Manila. Most of them are student athletes participating in all sorts of sports.
