What a beautiful sunny morning ……let’s get in the garden …..

I don’t have room to plant anything with being on the third floor, but my dad’s wife gets super busy gardening. She says she really burns the calories when her gardening goes full force. Sometimes, my dad has to go out and persuade her to come back inside because it’s just too hot to be outside so long. It will be fun to hear how your gardening goes this spring and summer.

As we live in an apartment complex, there's no space to plant big plants. My partner plants leeks, fig, and strawberries in a pot.

It is kind of unfortunate that I live in a place that do not give me any garden.

I'm guessing it must be warmer there than it is here. It's 37F/3C here in my part of Missouri this morning. That's too chilly to go out and play in the dirt. Our front flowerbed still has some things I planted growing in it but Pretty wanted to plant three types of mint on each end of the flowerbed. Now, those have spread and are killing my flowers and foliage plants. I haven't planted tomatoes out there in several years. I had been planting sweet peppers in large pots on the front porch but haven't done that in several years, either. The oxalis is all that still looks really good out there.

I'm hoping to spend more time in the garden now we're home from house-sitting.

I can't physically handle planting a garden.
