Southport North Carolina police officers responded to an emergency call on Thursday of last week when a huge alligator was hiding underneath an auto at the Truist Bank in the parking lot.
The police officers asked help from officers from Southport Animal Services who managed to rescue the alligator and the animal away from the parking lot and look for another place for the alligator to call home.
The animal rescue officers determined that the alligator only suffered minor injuries after an auto may have hit by an auto.

Alligators scare me. Can you imagine being the driver of that car?

I know how you would feel. I would be scared myself if I saw an alligator up close and personal.

@DianneN Most likely what happened since animals like to get underneath auto to stay cool from the heat.

I am in agreement with you that alligators are dangerous but not be harmed.

The alligator must have wandered into the parking lot of the bank.

You are right since even an alligator has a right to live.

I'm glad the gator was not hurt badly. I'm sure he just wanted to add to his Christmas Club account.
