There are many household items that can be recycled and used in the garden. Here are a few: * Cut toilet roll tubes in half and use as seed starters. * Use yogurt cups for mini planters. * Wine corks can be put on popsicle sticks and used for plant markers. * Glass jars can be used for spice storage or to plant herbs in. * Egg containers can be used to start seedlings in.

Coffee grounds and crushed egg shells are good for the soil in the garden. The egg shells also keep away snails and slugs….
