I have my own opinion, and I also know many people would agree with me. Personally, I am so, so tired of pop-up advertising. It seems to be worse than ever, if I go to a site to look for something, to shop for cheaper insurances, etc. then the pop-ups ramp up and get nuts. The son and I were discussing this, he hates them as much as I do. And we also discussed that pop-up adds are immediately X'd out by pretty much everyone. In all the years I have put up with pop-up ads, I have never, ever made a purchase from one of the ads. Not ever. Do you make purchases from pop-up ads? If you do, has it been a decent experience? Not that I am going to do that, I was just wondering if they are effective. As I am always curious, I looked up to find out just who invented these annoying ads.
