My therapy session never happened

I had a scheduled video session with a therapist today at 5:30pm. It was supposed to be my seventh session. I waited for the guy to text me that he has joined the link and that I should join as well but there was no text from him. I texted him four minutes after our scheduled meeting time to remind him that we had a session today, but he didn’t reply. The session is usually an hour, so I waited the whole hour for him, but he never surfaced. He finally replied to me, and it turned out that he did not have it written down that we had a session today. He apologized many times. I wonder what happened. I was sure that we had scheduled it because after every session he always asks me when we are going to have a session the following week. We ended up rescheduling for next Monday. It is not a big deal that there was no session, however, I would’ve left the house had I known that it wasn’t gonna happen.
