Losing My Job in Jeddah: A New Turn in Life

In February, I faced an unexpected and difficult challenge: I lost my job. Officially, I was terminated on February 26 due to an alleged violation of school policy, a reason I strongly believe was unfair. My contract was supposed to run until June, but after that day, my salary stopped.
I turned to Saudi labor authorities for help, and they agreed that my termination was unlawful. They advised me to file a case against my school. If I win, I’ll be entitled to a significant amount of compensation according to Saudi law. This money would be life-changing and could help resolve all my current financial struggles.
For a long time, I thought I would spend my whole life in Jeddah. But it seems the university had a different plan for me, and maybe there’s a better direction I need to follow. For now, I’ve made myself available full time on Preply, which is helping me get by, even though it’s not enough to cover all my credit card bills yet.
I’m still on the lookout for a new job and hoping to secure a contract with another company soon. While I wait for the hearing from the Ministry of Justice, I’m staying positive and open to new opportunities, trusting that this setback might just be a redirection toward something better.

You see, sometimes in life, we don't get what we want. What seems like an ending today, might be a new beginning - to something better and bigger. I hope you find justice, and new opportunities knock at your door soon.

You have a soothing voice. Sometimes I turn your channel on when I'm ready for bed.
