I have come round to Moms a day early this week ....she has a hearing appointment early tomorrow morning and it is easier to stay over tonight rather than get up extra early tomorrow to meet her and then get to the appointment.
Anyway, as I type I can smell that the tea is almost ready.
Mom has made a cottage pie.
We are having veggies with it.
Home made food is the best by far and I'm lucky that Mom is a brilliant cook.
What are you having for your tea this evening ?
Do you know the difference between a Shepherds pie and a Cottage pie ?

Both pies, whether with ground beef or ground lamb are called Shepherd's Pie where I live. I know the Shepherd's Pie has lamb in England.

@Traceyjayne And in some books I've read, the shepherds also took care of the local cows, too.
