I have a new club to join

I was talking to a friend earlier today whilst we were waiting for the bus and she was telling me about a club she has joined. Basically it is a club that gives talks, has days out, organises events etc ....there is also a cafe and you can pop in Monday to Friday and get a free drink. I am going to pop in tomorrow if I get the chance and sign up. If not I will go in on Thursday or Friday when I am in town. #exciting times .... Are you a member of any clubs ?

That sounds like our Probus clubs. Those are the sort of events that they run.

I'd like to join the senior center; but transportation and my walking difficulties don't help. I hope you enjoy the new experience.

Yes, but the one I'm in is like a club for older people. You can play games such as monopoly, sorry, or checkers. They have puzzles, which I always like to help with. There are generaally 2 or 3 people at any time helping to work on the puzzles. They also feed us lunch, which I always take part in if I"m not too busy.
