While the house boat cook was cooking mackarel fish we learned the recipe

The house boat experience in Alleppey was awesome. We used to enter the kitchen of the house boat and learn the recipes of the different food. There was mackarel fish fry, beet vegetable, sambar dal and chicken curry with rice and chapatis. There were certain Malayali spices that were given which increased taste in the food.

Cooks in the US usually don't share their recipes. The food is part of the draw for the guests.

thanks DE that is professional approach. In the houseboats there are 4 to 5 staff. they have huge innovation.
