Good thing I called

So, back to the saga with the DG. Even though sometimes they don't answer the phone, I managed to get the manager this morning. I asked about whether the store was stocked with fresh meat and veggies. She said they got the meat yesterday, and there is a truck today, which she is hoping contains vegetables and fruits. However, it takes them awhile to unload a truck, and who knows again whether it will contain fruits and veggies? My plan is to call tomorrow again, and ask before I go. Hopefully, someone will answer. If they don't have them, I will just go to Food Lion. Friend is taking me to the mountains on Saturday, and we will go to my favorite Grocery clearance center anyway..except they don't have good prices on fruits and veggies, so need to get those here.

Better to wait and call again to avoid to go there and they have not even unloaded the truck.

Good thing you called ahead. You don’t have to waste your time. I called ahead with my doctor and he is in today. He’s just 45 minutes behind. No surprise there.

@snowy22315 I have started to not be against paying a bit more if it makes life easier. Although Having said that Oh maybe next week I will be posting about a real bargain lol
