In the hot and humid days I miss the swimming pools

It is very hot and humid in Calcutta at this moment. In the summer now temperature is going upto 39 degree celsius with huge humidity. In this hot weather I miss the lovely swimming pools. Whenever there were 3 to 4 days stay in countryside resorts we swam in the swimming pools to beat the heat. Now term time is going. I think everyone loves swimming.

It is humid here but still too chilly to go swimming. Today was only 22C for our high. I do miss going to the lake during the summer to swim, though.

@sathviksouvik The lake is about 1 hour drive from our house. Pretty and I used to go at least once a week and swim for several hours but haven't been able to do that in several years. We really miss swimming.

@DaddyEvil you are very blessed that the lake is so close from your house. The closest sea destination that is there near Kolkata in Mandarmani which is 180 kilometers away so 6 hours drive. I have always swam in swimming clubs where I paid and swam on weekend

I would not like the high humidity there. I'm sure the swimming pools are very popular when it's so hot.

thanks Judy it is a very irritating experience of facing humidity. My major classrooms are in the 8th floor so they are warm. There are fans but when temperature soars to 40 degrees the humidity makes life difficult
