What kind of cards do you go for regarding any occasion?

I got some free cards to review, and I’m giving this birthday card to my best friend for her birthday in May. I was trying to think if I give serious cards or funny greeting cards more. With my dad, he prefers the humorous cards, so I usually look for a hilarious one for him. Lately, maybe because he’s getting older, I get him a funny one AND a serious card. Obviously, sympathy cards are not meant to be funny, but with other cards, do you most often send humorous or serious/sweet cards? I know a lot of people don’t bother with cards anymore, but I still think people like getting them.

I like this card, but I am sure that this poor doggie did not like at all to be all dressed like that.

I kind of wonder if it was computer generated. I just can’t see a dog being that cooperative.

@ambiePam The only card shop in this town only sells cards that are vulgar or crass. I prefer neither.

I tend to send humorous cards. There is enough seriousness in life..and everybody could use a laugh...especially these days.
