Louisville Slugger Makes Pink Bats To Raise Money for Breast Cancer Research

Another local story today. For 20 years, Louisville Slugger (baseball bats) has been making pink bats to support breast cancer research. They've raised roughly seven figures in 20 years by selling 6,000 bats. MLB (Major League Baseball) uses pink bats on Mother's Day to support breast cancer research as well. Isn't this a wonderful idea?

That is a neat idea. I haven't seen any in use here, but I knew they existed. Cool!

Yes, I watch a lot of baseball, and I’ve always liked the pink bats. They do blue bats for Father’s Day too. It’s a really cool thing.
