How are you all doing this morning? I hope you're all doing well.
It's Friday. My goal this month was to interact more. Instead, I've been absent more than I've been here. I know most of you know I'm an author. Authors write. This month I've been working on two books - Wilderness Call and A Heart Divided. Both of them could be classified as historical fiction. A Heart Divided certainly is while Wilderness Call bridges on it as the third book in the Wilderness series.
I haven't mentioned A Heart Divided until yesterday. It's not a new book. I started it years ago. Usually, I can place where I was when I start a new book, I don't know where I was when I started this one. I had 200 pages written before I started on it again - reading and editing as I familiarized myself with this story. I just looked up the version history for this book and found I started it in July 2020. That tells me exactly where I was living when I started this manuscript. My previous address.
This month has also been very hard on me physically. I've had a month-long backache that leaves me wondering if I'm going to be able to walk when I get up in the morning. I'm seeing the chiropractor and getting my body tuned up just like you tune up a car when everything starts to go sideways. Ibuprofen and the heating pad have helped to keep the pain at bay.
One thing I enjoy is being here when I can. I love seeing what's new in your life and catching up with you. I can't always be here like I want, but I am here when I can get a few minutes away from my busy writing life. It's a good thing I'm only working on two books right now. Though I have a lot more waiting in the wings when they call out to me to work on them. Those are More Than a Conqueror - I haven't worked on that one for a while now. It's beeing patient; Firestorm - finished but in the first editing stage; New Horizons - Predators and Terrorists - finished - editing stage - also verifying facts for the next book in the series. These books and many more are being patient right now as I find myself working on the two I mentioned above.
So there you have an update on my busy life and that doesn't include the appointments that take me away from the apartment and my computer.
What's new with you? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. Everything is turning green now. This was taken a couple of years ago at this time.

Best of wishes on life and health.
I hope the book writing goes well.
I finished reading a book some time back.
Work is busy but more challenging is the surge of some unavoidable expenses.
Monthly targets are badly going haywire.
Yet one has to keep focus on tasks and plans ahead.
The Middle East crisis means that we could see elevated Fuel prices and that could be a bigger challenge.
Anyways, I hope you are more frequent here!
And so do I !

@Ineeddentures I'm sorry you endured a long backache too. It's not fun.
Right now, the heating pad and the chiropractor are helping.
Thank you. I hope I wake up like that without pain soon. It would be a blessing.

The back sure can be painful. I hope you're feeling better.
I started a book when I was probably 16 or 17. Still working on it.
