I wanted to get on this morning before George and I went shopping, but I ran out of time. I needed to clear space in the van for the groceries we'd be buying and needed to prepare drinks for our travels. Although, I apparently forgot ice. Which is why I found myself getting some from a 7-Eleven on beachside. We also bought burgers and fries at Sonic, although neither of us expected it to cost us 20 bucks. Inflation is insane. I knew we'd be spending over 100 at Walmart today, but still Sonic was sticker shock. Now we're home, and George is listening to a cd out on the porch.

We don't go to sonic often, so it was a shock.

@kaylachan I bet If I had seen prices like that I might have changed my mind and gone elsewhere

Sonic is one of my favorite places to buy food at a bargain price.

Two burgers and one large fry costs half of what we paid at literally anywhere else.

Yes, prices are insane. We used to pay about $60 for an average meal when we eat out. Now it's $80. Uber Eats takes it for the convenience.

I don't go to a convenience store much because it's so expensive there. We always buy our groceries to supermarket because the items are cheaper.

I love my slurpees from 7-Eleven. But, they aren't all bad. Sure, it cost me 53 cents to put ice in George's cup, but our meal cost us 20 dollars. so it's not as bad as some might think.

Meals out anywhere anymore are expensive, unless you are ordering online and can get a discount or something!
