Mom and I have been having egg and cress sandwiches regularly for the last few weeks and I was surprised at how much cress costs …..well, I had to do something about this , I mean, I can’t keep buying food can I ! lol……
I got a pack of seeds and I planted some in a punnet that we had had cress in from the supermarket ……that was I knew I was growing the right amount for our sandwiches …..hey ! I put a lot of thought into these things you know !
Anyway, quicker than you can say “ what’s Traceyjayne up to now ?”, the cress was grown.
I’m taking it round to Moms today.
I already have started a second punnet.
How long do you think it will take before I’m a millionaire with all this money I’m saving ?

Why do you grow cress when you can get it for free?

@DaddyEvil this is cress not watercress.
You would be hard pushed to find a clear stream around here.

Cress is supposed to be really easy to grow. That's a good idea of yours.

@LindaOHio …..we have watercress and cress here …..different things ….although I guess if you really looked into it our cress is probably part of the watercress family. Watercress can be found growing wild in streams etc. cress is grown from tiny seeds has a long thin white stalk and at the top are tiny green leaves. It needs water but isn't grown in water.
