Replacing someone or being a substitute is never easy, especially when i was told that employee is on sick leave and until the end of the school year, which is on june 12. so, yes, i hoped i won't go working at another school until that date, that i would stay at the current one.
well, i wish i got more info about the employee's sickness but that's private and principals rarely want to share that info, which would help me a lot.
well, 2 days ago, i found out from a colleague that employee that i'm replacing is coming back the next week and she picked exactly a day before the holiday so she can get a paid holiday.
very well played but i decided i don't want to stay 3 more days, to kill myself from work while she will come back and have everything easy, including a paid holiday. not fair to me so, yes, i decided to contact another school and i was surprised, they said i could start working starting tomorrow. I contacted current principal/employer and said i decided to work somewhere else due to her employee coming back earlier. Principal said i should have contacted her first, that she had plan for me (just like last week, when her office was closed, including the secretary's too and i thought that was it for me). She also said she knew that her employee is returning. I asked so, why didn't she contact me and telling me the plan and giving me some safety but she answered (we exchanged whatsapp messages cause apparently she was outside the country) that she doesn't have time, she's on a business trip and that i should have trusted her more. i replied that i didn't sign the contract but she just wished me luck. i wished her too.
I can't trust anyone and how can i trust if they don't give me something real. Since October last year, i changed 5 schools and this would be my 6th. Every class has 30 students. I am tired of remembering so many names and yes, this is unfortunate but, for me. The principal of this school told me they really want someone until June 12 and that's all i wanted to hear but yeah, i'm going to miss kids from the previous school, it was the 2nd grade and i liked working with that age.
Also, i'm going to travel further to this school, which i really dislike. i can't seem to find anything closer to my apartment and i really tried.
P.s. If i didn't answer on someone's notifications, it's because they are gone and i'm sorry i'm late again.

Pray and be patient; it is hard to trust anyone, so play smartly but play fair.
