I wasn’t going out today as I’m full of cold but I started coughing and spluttering and , of course, found I hadn’t got any cough mixture ! Off I tootled into town. Greggs ( cakes and bakes store ) was next to the supermarket so I was able to get a free steak bake. In Tesco I got a bag of hash browns …..I can get 50% back off the price using one of my shopping apps. Both Grandson and Granddaughter have started having these from McDonald’s recently. They are SO expensive. I think they are about £1.76 each. I got a bag for £1.35 ( half price ). Not sure how many are in the bag …. But I know I’m quids in ! Do you love a freebie and a bargain. ?

I’m glad you got something for a good deal considering you don’t feel well. I’m trying not to let this tickle in my throat walk straight into a cold.

We buy the Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese croissants instead of buying them from McDonalds. Those are $4 the last time I went to McDonalds but the bag of them from Walmart only costs $11 for 8 of them or 16 for $21, I think that's what I pay for them, anyway. We just bought a box of those last week.

@Traceyjayne They are delicious! They can't be too bad for me since I'm still losing weight while eating them.
