Why would you go back?

I always remind myself never to go back to that place where I lost my smile.
The place doesn't literally mean a place but it could be a situation or a person.
Why would I?
It's not easy to break free from a situation that burdens us sometimes for a lot of reasons or factors that sometimes we thought we couldn't control. But when we are finally able to, let us remind ourself that our happiness is precious too.

Are you talking about an airport? I’ve lost my smile many a time waiting in long queues to get through security. Apparently it’s even worse now with the new EU entry/exit system. I’ve yet to experience that!

I had a situation when I was 18, in an abusive relationship, and I went back to it once because I was young and stupid and didn't realize what was happening. I will never do that again.
