The Mister, The Company, and The Messing About !

So, many of you know that The Mister works away Monday to Friday. This means he has to get up at stupid o’clock on a Monday morning to drive for several hours to get his permit before driving to where he actually has to start work. He also has to find somewhere to stay for the week and somewhere to eat. This week he is in Grimsby. Yesturday he got told that tomorrow he was working in Loughborough for the rest of the week and for the next few weeks. He had to cancel the digs he had for this week in Grimsby and book some in Loughborough. Today, he got told the job was cancelled and he was staying in Grimsby. Phone calls hastily made to cancel digs in Loughborough and check if they could stay at the digs they already had in Grimsby. Obviously both had been paid for so he is having to claim for the money back from Loughborough. Then ….. He was having a new van next week. He had a phone call yesturday to say he was getting his new van tomorrow. So now he has to sort all the stuff from his old van ready to be put in his new van. His new van is smaller than the one he has got at the moment, so he is not sure that everything will go in it, ( he was going to sort it at home this weekend as he thought he had another week before the change over ! ) And …..it’s only Tuesday ! Don’t you wish you worked for a company like that ! Don’t you !
