Oftentimes we are in rush, chasing time, wanted to finished something, so glued with our works and phone screens. Unending checking what's due, calendars and notifications. Our attention always pull downward. Sudden out of battery, scheduled blackout, unexpected reboot and shutdowns these are reminders of small pauses. The moment, a chance when we could look up. The sky is vast, simply exists without demand. We are free to daydream just by looking up above, make our worries feel smaller, eases our tiredness by appreciating the beauty it showed us. It is the most grounding thing we can do in the middle of our busy days, pause and lift our head. There's a beauty above us that changes color, it's always there but we rarely seen. Be honest do you ever look up? or why don't we do it more often? Most of the time I look up above after work, it's therapeutic. The sky is really pretty. Photos are from those days I look up above. When I just arrived at our store and I was at our staycation place by the beach.

No, I usually don't look up. All I can see from our house is trees and tree limbs. The sky hides here behind all the greenery.

Well it's not bad to just stare at the tree leaves swinging by the gust of wind. But be careful there might be some unexpected dropping of twigs. Lol! Seriously, greenery is good for the eyes after being caught all day with screen.

@Jehanne We have some mean squirrels that like to throw twigs and walnuts at us once in a while. Usually, they just chitter at me because I didn't plant a garden the squirrels can eat this year. Yes, it's very soothing on the eyes.

Good for yahhh! take it easy, like I can work, I can dance, I can sing. Hehehe I can even turn around my swivel chair at work. Lol! whew! But I must admit that I can be stressed too. So I have to look at outside the window and pace out.

Cool! I love the summer sky. I love to daydream also when I was younger, but now I need to get a good use of my time as I grow older hehehe.

My office desk in the house I right in front of the window where I can see the sky when I open the blinds. I prefer to see the sky often.

I do too. But at the office our warehouseman block my view by piling up the goods in boxes.

That’s a beautiful photo! I’m up and down constantly, but look at the sky all the time, especially when it’s a sunny and beautiful day.

When the weather is good, and when the sky is widely showed a clear bluesky or when it's cloudy. That's beautiful! Even sometimes we complain how hot the day is, there's always a lot of reason to see beauty in between.

I think most people don't look up cause they qre glued to the digital world. Even when they are stressed with one thing or the other, they would rather play games, watch movies and so on than actually take a break from everything digital.

It really is and sometimes we complain about it. I can now understand why there's automatic reboot set in our system at work. For us to at least slow down, stretch a little and if have time look out at the window.
