Oftentimes we are in rush, chasing time, wanted to finished something, so glued with our works and phone screens. Unending checking what's due, calendars and notifications. Our attention always pull downward.
Sudden out of battery, scheduled blackout, unexpected reboot and shutdowns these are reminders of small pauses. The moment, a chance when we could look up.
The sky is vast, simply exists without demand. We are free to daydream just by looking up above, make our worries feel smaller, eases our tiredness by appreciating the beauty it showed us.
It is the most grounding thing we can do in the middle of our busy days, pause and lift our head. There's a beauty above us that changes color, it's always there but we rarely seen.
Be honest do you ever look up? or why don't we do it more often?
Most of the time I look up above after work, it's therapeutic. The sky is really pretty.
Photos are from those days I look up above.
When I just arrived at our store and I was at our staycation place by the beach.

No, I usually don't look up. All I can see from our house is trees and tree limbs. The sky hides here behind all the greenery.

Those are lovely photos. I try to remember to look up from time to time.

there might be some unexpected dropping of twigs. Lol!
Seriously, greenery is good for the eyes after being caught all day with screen.
