Oh no!!! not the new glasses

As I was getting ready to go to bed last night, I took off my new glasses and the arm fell off. Guess I am glad I got the warranty.
I had gotten rid of all of my old spares. I was stuck wearing my prescription sunglasses.
Today we were going to Newton anyway, Bob was getting the first iron building shot.
So they were going to just pop my lenses into the same frame, just a new one off the shelf. Somewhere along the line the frame had been slightly changed. She could not do it. The lenses were too big.
I will get a brand new pair absolutely free. For the time being she patched up the first pair. When I get the new one I will give these back. I went ahead and ordered another pair, just in case. It was 20% off because I ordered it within 30 days of the last ones.
It is time for me to fix lunch now. Just some yummy leftovers. Then maybe I can nap.

Getting the new pair for free sounds good.
I took a long nap for two hours post my breakfast today. I love vacation time.

I did not go for that nap. I should get in that habit, though as it probably would be good for me. I am glad you are having a vacation.

@GardenGerty Yes, I have vacation till end of May. Teachers and non teaching staffs get back to work in the first week of June. Students start coming from second week of June.
Even when it is working days, I take a power nap of 30 to 40 minutes in the afternoon. That is very refreshing and makes me productive for the rest of the evening.

The shot appointment is short and sweet. We got there early, he went to the infusion room. They explained his shot and he was givien it and we left, to go order my glasses.

Yvonne's new glasses malfunctioned as well

This was a welding problem, I wish it had been the kind that could be replaced with a screw.
