We are getting cherry tomato plants next week.

So, you may remember that a neighbour gave me some cherry tomato plants last year ....and the year before .....and we had so many that I was struggling to use them all. Many were eaten, by myself and my family, some were given away and so many were dehydrated in the air fryer. Well, my neighbour messaged me earlier and says she has kept 6 plants for me. We are well happy. We will collect them next weekend. My growing season has begun , Do you grow anything ?

That’s wonderful! It sounds like a desirable situation. My dad tends to his blackberry bush, and his wife tried tomatoes and corn, but usually the animals get the tomatoes and corn first.

@AmbiePam .. I would love to grow blackberries but our garden isn't really big enough and I pick plenty of wild ones by the caravan site.

I would have been happy to take some of your overload of cherry tomatoes. Hopefully this season we're going to try to grow some ourselves. Hope you have a great cherry tomato season again this year.

@Marilynda. You would have been welcome to plants if you lived closer. Hope you do get to grow some ....home grown are so much better than shop bought.

I grew cherry tomatoes last year but the chilli thrip love them so I don't think I'll even try to grow them this year. Good luck with yours.

I did try to grow cherry tomato during pandemic but it never survived. Don't know what went wrong. Well my siblings started to plant some corns, string beans, ladyfinger, squash and not sure what the other seedlings are that have not yet planted.
