Students who were coming home from Hanock Middle School in Mississippi are being praised as heroes for their actions of saving their bus driver Leah Taylor who passed out while she was driving due to her having an asthma attack on Wednesday April 22. Jackson Casnave, 12, was sitting behind the bus driver when he noticed that the bus was driving down the road in an odd way. Jackson grabbed the wheel while Darrius Clark. 12, managed to press the brakes of the school bus while the other students managed to get the bus to a median and stop the bus. Kayleigh Clark, 13, called 911 to ask the authorities for help. Destiny Cornelius, 15, helped Leah to take her medicines while McKenzie Finch, 13, helped her friend to assist Leah to recover. The students who were aboard the school bus were honored at a pep rally on Friday for their heroic actions. Leah who has made a full recovery is grateful for the students who saved her life as well as the other passengers aboard the school bus. It is nice the good deeds done by young teens instead of the dark side of teenagers behaving badly. Link is foxnews.com/us/mississippi/...#FoxNews

Me too since some kids would have freaked out seeing their bus driver not being able to drive the bus properly.

@Deepizzaguy .......Oh, I'm sure there were some of those. I'm glad that one boy saw what was going on early and helped the driver.

So am I since it is refreshing to see teens helping a bus driver who needed their help instead of acting like thugs inside of a bus.

I didn’t think an asthma attack would happen that way.

Neither did I know that asthma attacks could be that harmful.

Those were very attentive teenagers and lucky they were so big I think if they had been grade school kids there could have been a crash and injusires,

Those students were very clever to pull the bus over safely and deal with the poor bus-driver.

That is true since it is nice to see teenagers save lives instead of harming others.

It scares me as well when I take rides on bus rides in Lake Charles.
