Clever parenting

Some parents seem to take to raising kids with the greatest of ease while others can find it quite a stressful experience. I saw something of interest the other day. I think it came up on somebody’s Facebook account.
Two brothers had been squabbling for a while and the father told them to go out on the lawn, take off both shoes and one sock. The first boy to bring him the other brother’s sock would be declared the winner. There was a short clip of the boys rolling on the grass, trying to get the other’s sock and laughing all the while. What a great way to deal with such a situation.

I love the phrase mind your own parenthood. Not because I'm anti-opinions but sometimes people force that opinion and all it does is hurt. Every kid and every family is different. I don't think anyone was really raised the same. Similar maybe but not the same and that makes how they raise their kids different as well.
What's different isn't always bad.

And to think, I could have done that with Pretty and her friends and had peace and quiet in the house for hours!

@JudyEv It really is a good idea! As long as the kids don't team up and decide to split the money.

That's a good idea; but the brothers will eventually have to learn to get along.

It seemed a good idea to me. They were having a lot of fun wrestling each other and trying to get the other one's sock off.

I wouldn't have a clue how to parent. I never had children. I'm allergic to kids!
