I think I mentioned that the cardiologist called, wanting Bob back on the medicine we feel gave him so much trouble a month ago. I said absolutely not.
So he is going to take another medicine in that class of drugs, in very small doses. I do agree he needs medicines that help, I just wish we could find the right things for him to take.
I needed to go to Newton to get it. Bob was up, and said he would go with me. We were going to go to Arby's afterwards.
Newton is a railroad hub, even has Amtrak through occasionally, maybe once or twice a week. It is so full of trains and tracks the schools actually call their mascots the "Railers".
We got stopped by a non moving train. It was blocking Main Street. It did not move an inch the whole time we sat there. Eventually we were in a position to turn off to the side from Main Street. We back tracked and then decided to order Little Caesar's Pizza to take home. This was more economical than any other choice.
Hubby usually goes in and orders, but I did this time. I got their super Supreme specialty pizza. Large for under $15. We had not tried it before. We will have two meals from it, at home and I will not be tempted to drink sweetened beverages. This pizza was gorgeous, with big pieces of all kinds of vegetables. I was impressed.
We have had a cold front and bad windy weather overnight. Only drizzly rain. Bob is so tired from the two trips out yesterday he got up and dressed and went back to bed. I am having a quiet day today myself.
It is time for me to make some lunch for myself. I will share it with Bob when he gets up.

There are railroad tracks through the center of our city, too. I hate waiting for trains to move when I need to be somewhere on the other side of the tracks. A few years ago the city built a bypass to the tracks so we can go around now, if we need to. (The fire station used to be blocked by the tracks, too. So if fire broke out, that could be a real mess.)
Pizza does sound good for tonight. I'm getting hungry but it's really too early for me to eat.
I hope the new med is something that works and doesn't cause any problems.

I hate when the trains are stopped and you can't get anywhere

They're always trying to push pills on us. I just got a new one: jardiance 10 mg empagliflozin. Yeah
just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?

I got Little Caesar's pizza sticks over the weekend. There is a town near here that has something like 13 or 15 trains through it everyday. They have a train festival every year, also a railside restaurant while you eat you usually see 2 trains whizzing by.

The town where I grew up was a railway town and sometimes they'd shunting back and forth across the main road into the centre. Cars could sit there for ages sometimes.

We're constantly getting caught by a moving or non moving train. It's annoying.
I hope the new med works out for Bob.
The pizza sounds luscious.

I think I would have liked some of that.
