Mom has had her ears irrigated !

We went to see the nurse today so that she could get the wax out of her ears so that next week she could go and have her hearing check up …..
Some may remember we went a few weeks ago but they couldn’t do the check because of the wax….the nurse then had to see the wax then make an appointment to get it removed ….what a palarva !
Anyway, she had them irrigated today ….loads of wax came out.
She has her hearing check up next week…..
Fingers crossed all will be okay.
We hadn’t heard the phrase irrigated the ears before …..seems like a good method though ….

@xFiacre. …..Mom’s cousin phoned just before I left to come home, she rings Mom every day. Mom told her she had had her ears irrigated and her cousin said …..” You’ve had your ears irritated “ ! That made us laugh ….

@TheHorse. We will see. She can’t wear her hearing aids til tomorrow….hearing check next week.

I think that is necessary as we age. My 83 year old MIL has wax build up that has to be irrigated
