Who else is looking forward to Summer?

I'm looking forward to Summer very much this year. It will be a much needed 2 month break from work. This will be the first year I will not have worry about where children need to be. The last one graduated last May.I was contemplating vacation. I really think I just want to stay home and relax. Maybe get to a few projects around the house. Anyone else looking forward to summer? Or have vacation plans?
I'm not looking forward to the summer heat. Here in the South the humidity in July can take your breath away.

In the Philippines, many people enjoy summer because they can visit beautiful beaches, swim, and cool off from the intense heat of the season. However, I am not fond of summer due to the hot weather, which can make life uncomfortable. Without the relief of an air-conditioned room, the summer heat here can be quite unbearable.

Yes I do not like when it gets to extreme heat temps. I like to use the ac and stay in.

@SouthernStiches That is correct; I dislike cold temperatures, such as those found in winter climates. However, I could tolerate them for a longer period of time than hot and humid weather.

I'm ok when temps are in the 80's or 90's. I cannot handle when it is over 100. I stay inside.

my contract is up to june 12 so, being jobless and hot in my apartment, i don't like it but, what to do.
