Clean your phone apps

I have seen many advertisements for apps that say not for me to remove emails and photos myself to do it with one of the apps. At first they just wanted to get my money then I saw some were free.
But I am afraid that they will remove stuff that I want to keep!
Have any of you used any of these and please advise me?

Nope. It's easy enough to do myself. No need for an app to do it.

I don't use them. It doesn't take that much time to do it yourself
