The usual shopping trip.

We …..myself and Mom, went to Lidl today. There was an advert in this weeks brochure saying that from today you could buy trailing plants. Just what Mom needed for her hanging basket.
When we got there we looked all over but could not see any plants . They had freshly cut flowers but that was all.
I thought they might have them in the back, as we were still very early.
Nope.
The lady working there said that the self service tills had taken up the space of plants so they no longer sold them at that store …..
We will have to try to get to another Lidl this weekend .
Shopping trip to Morrisons was uneventful.
We did get the Turkey for our Turkey baguettes though.
I treated us both to an apple turnover too.

I'm watching a dinosaur movie right now. So far it's not bad. It's called "They Found a Lost Island of Dinosaurs".

@traceyjayne There were trailing plants at my Lidl today. I am mightily displeased that self service tills are being introduced. I hope they take their time coming here.

@xFiacre. It was just an excuse ….the self service tills have taken the place of two regular tills ….thats all. Nowhere near where the flowers and plants were usually placed.
We have the Grandkids this weekend but we will try and get Mom to another Lidl if we can.
