We’ve been out for tea ……33% discount too …..

Well, as you know I use apps all the time, for all the shops I use and the pubs/restaurant too.
Today as it is Friday we usually have a takeaway. We couldn’t decide on what to have…..then I remembered , I had enough stamps on my Sizzling pub app to get a whopping 33% off everything ….food and drinks.
That was sorted then….we were going out to eat.
Mom had fish and chips
The Mister had steak and chicken
I had mixed grill ……steak, sausage, chicken and gammon …..I swapped the gammon with The Mister for his onion rings.
We each had a drink …..and the bill still came to less than £30 in total with my discount.
You gotta love an app !

Mixed grill does sound delicious but we don't have a restaurant like that close to us. I'm glad you included Mom when you and the Mister went out... I'm sure she enjoyed it.
It isn't time for tea in the US... I'm thinking I'd like a sliced chicken sandwich on sourdough bread with mayo for late lunch after while and may eat the rest of my steak and potatoes for supper tonight.

We always include Mom ….every Friday, when we have a takeaway or if we go out.

@DaddyEvil yes, both his parents passed when he was 18 within 3 months of each other.
I haven’t mentioned them as I never met them. The Mister and I were at school together and did go out but I never met his parents…..we split up and didn’t see each other again until after they had gone

@xFiacre …it was a great deal …..well done for signing up to Shoppix ….i would have sent you my code if I’d known. It’s a great app ….i have just this week cashed out £25 for Amazon ….( when I eventually got my account sorted out ). You get scratch cards and surveys too so those points add up quickly ….

I had 1/4 cup of chili on Friday. I wasn't hungry. That was lunch. Later in the day I had some protein bars.
