Alicia McCullough who is a registered nurse at St. Joesph's Candler Hospital in Savannah Georgia was on her lunch break when she saw a patient named Joanne Smith who is a patient at the same hospital began to choke on her food. Alicia used the Heimlich Maneuver on Joanne to save her life inside of the hospital. The exact date when Alicia saved the life of Joanne was not released. Joanne has become very good friends with Alicia and Joanne appreciates the work of nurses ever since. Alicia received an award during National Nurses Week from St. Joesph's Chandler with five days of activities as her reward as welk as her fellow nurses which they richly deserve for helping persons in need. Choking seems to be quite a common hazard, especially among the elderly.

I can feel at times my throat muscles are not what it were earlier. So caution is to be observed especially when alone.

That's good for Alicia. Others have been sneered at by their envious co-workers. I am happy for her.
