It's looking alittle cloudy out there today. I hope it doesn't rain. I will probably need to make a run to the trash, recycling center later. In the one closest to me, the staff seems to be overly observant. I don't like that. At the other sites in the county they seem to mind their own business. Good for them! Anyway, sometimes they leaves freebies there at the sites although they aren't supposed to, it happens. I have picked up a few things over the years. The best thing was a woven hamper. Those are quite expensive in the stores. I also got a couple of nice life jackets which came in handy when we had the boat or kayak down at the lake.

Good morning. 
It began foggy and overcast here this morning, but it got bright and sunny by about 9.
It feels like it will be a nice day-great for a weekend day for a change.
When we go to the transfer station they are quite observant, anyway that they can get a few dollars from people, they are all in for that.
My husband has to take our propane bbque apart and get it to the transfer station one of these weekends when our son can come by and haul it with his truck-its too big for our SUV. But it should be free because it is steel.

Around here they have people that pick up metals for free. I have used them a few times.

They should, but I think the powers that be were concerned that somebody could leave something dangerous, accidentally or on purpose and someone would get hurt or killed, and then they would be facing a lawsuit. I can understand the fear, but the reality is slim to none. This just isn't that kind of place.

It is great when things can be reused or upcycled. I do not like it when people watch me like a hawk, it makes me feel guilty even when I am not.

Yes, it is always kind of a thrill. The sun is in and out..It would be good if it holds off.although we are in a drought.
